Bounties back to cull 20,000 foxes

Farmers can claim $10 for every fox scalp under a new bounty system aimed at cutting the number of the pest species.

Foxes are in the firing line across SA as the State Government moves to reduce the number of the notorious livestock and wildlife predators.
A bounty scheme worth $220,000 will aim to reduce the number of foxes which have threatened livestock and native wildlife since the mid-1800s when they were introduced for recreational hunting.
