The Adelaide Hills Council is on track to meet its goal of 100% renewable energy by 2024 after more than doubling the size of its solar power array.
Roof-mounted solar panels on top of the Coventry Library and at the Heathfield Depot have been replaced with larger systems and a new 12.5kW ground mounted system has been installed at the Birdwood Community Wastewater Management System site, bumping up the council’s solar panel power from 61kW to about 141kW.
