Two Gumeracha group CFS brigades will get a boost to their equipment and facilities after receiving over $12,000 in funding from the 2020/21 round of RAA Regional Safety Grants.
Paracombe CFS received $2887 to purchase a thermal imaging camera (TIC) and a portable weather meter while Cudlee Creek CFS received $10,000 – the largest single grant from the program – to improve storage facilities at the station. CFS Gumeracha group officer Rick Drury said it was “great that the RAA are supporting SA and supporting our volunteers.”
