Road upgrade a party commitment

The Labor party has promised millions of dollars to upgrade a narrow stretch of road at Cherry Gardens if it wins the State Election in March.
Main Road, which runs from Coromandel Valley to Chandlers Hill, has seen 16 crashes since 2015, including multiple rollovers and two fatalities, and was voted the State’s “fourth riskiest road” in the RAA’s annual risky road survey last year.
