Pet project a growing concern

Heathfield High School student Jack Virieux has started a new pet accessories and clothing brand business.

They say a dog is a man’s best friend and it’s that connection that inspired a Heathfield High School student to start a pet accessories and clothing brand business, with some proceeds going to the RSPCA.
Jack Virieux, 14, started the project with a fellow classmate for the entrepreneurial specialist program at the school and now his homemade products, under the brand Jet and Cleo Co are sold at three shops in the Hills.
“We did an entrepreneur day at school one day last year where we had to plan, create and run a social enterprise business,” he said. “We saw there wasn’t much around in the way of dog accessories and we both owned dogs so decided to head in that direction.
