Flying is more than a hobby

Heathfield Angel Flight volunteer pilot Owen Crees marked his 300th flight with the charity earlier this month.

It started as a hobby nearly half-a-century ago, but last month Heathfield pilot Dr Owen Crees helped make Angel Flight history.
With 318 charity flights under his belt, Dr Crees, 71, undertook one of the not-for-profit services’ longest flights – 3100kms.
