RV facility to give Hills a tourism boost

Mt Torrens Hotel managing director and owner, Angela Lo-Faro, says the establishment of an RV dump point at her business will open up the region to “an area of tourism that we’re really missing out on”.

Campervan tourism could soon pick up in the Hills thanks to the Adelaide Hills Council’s pledge to help fund the establishment of two extraction points for recreational vehicle (RV) wastewater.
The council will provide $25,000 to establish RV dump points – free-to-use facilities for emptying campervans and motorhomes of waste – at the backyard area of the Mt Torrens Hotel ($10,000) and the Johnston Memorial Park at Balhannah ($15,000).
