Meals on Wheels calls for volunteers

Supervisor Narelle Long, left, and kitchen hands Paul Cridge and Elaine Applebee volunteer with the Mt Barker Meals on Wheels branch, which is calling for more volunteers.

Local Meals on Wheels managers are hoping awareness around National Volunteers Week will help to attract more volunteers to their service.
The Mt Barker branch has added around 25 clients and a fourth round of deliveries since the start of the year and needs more volunteers to cover the extra workload.
