Stirling oval jewel now a step closer

A million dollar project in Stirling, which has been almost a century in the making, could become a reality after a major funding boost.
The community-driven project to build a pavilion overlooking the Stirling Oval has been kick-started with a $250,000 donation from the Matthews family of the nearby Stirling Hotel.
