$25m spend to double capacity of aged home

A $25m redevelopment of Uraidla’s Summerhill aged care home will see it more than double in capacity.

A $25m redevelopment of a Hills nursing home that will provide more than 30 new local aged care beds is likely to begin this year after it was given the green light by the State Government.
Last week the State Commission Assessment Panel approved plans to knock down the 25-bed Summerhill aged care home in Uraidla and replace it with a double-storey 60 bed facility.
