Slippery surface forces move

Heathfield Netball Club courts’ issues with last year’s resurfacing efforts by an Adelaide Hills Council contractor have meant no games in any grades have been played since safety concerns were identified.

The Hills Netball Association has been forced to move all games from Heathfield Netball Club’s courts after safety issues were identified with players slipping in mildly wet weather.
Adelaide Hills Council acknowledged the issues were a consequence of last year’s resurfacing of the courts, which was part of the State Government’s $490,000 taxpayer investment into upgrades of Heathfield Oval and adjoining amenities.
