A change in strategy has worked wonders for Langhorne Creek farmer, Joe Borrett who took out this year’s $3000 first prize in The Courier AFL Tipping Competition ahead of almost 500 other tipsters.
Normally at the bottom of the ladder, the Crows fan made a decision to tip with his head rather than his heart, backing arch rival Port Adelaide more often than not, which ultimately led to Mr Borrett turning his fortunes around.
