An Oakbank bed and breakfast would be expanded to become a “mini wellness resort” featuring “luxury” glamping accommodation under plans lodged with the Adelaide Hills Council.
Six glamping tents, right, and two “tiny homes” would be built at Parkwood Retreat Hotel and Bed and Breakfast on Downers Road under plans that property owner Steve Pearce said would offer “affordable luxury”.
‘Glamping’ plan for Oakbank property
New accommodation – catering for up to 16 guests – would be spread across the sprawling 7ha Oakbank property, complementing an existing bed and breakfast and bunkhouse.
