School short on access facilities

Oakbank Area School council chair Alistair MacPherson says the State Government is failing to provide appropriate disability access.

Disabled students starting at Oakbank Area School have been left without “vital” accessibility facilities as a growing Hills community becomes dependent on the public facility, says the school’s council.
Enrolments this year include a student who uses a wheelchair and others with disabilities who are currently dependent on State Government provided support workers.
