The Liberal candidate for Mayo, Allison Bluck, has apologised for a campaign letter sent to residents which falsely claimed she was the manager of a nature trail, saying she had not seen the letter before it was distributed.
The promotional letter arrived in mailboxes across the Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and KI last week, falsely claiming Ms Bluck was the “manager of the Kangaroo Island Nature Trail”.
As well as incorrectly naming the KI Wilderness Trail, the position is held by an Alison Buck, whom Ms Bluck said she had contacted to apologise for the error.

Ms Bluck, a Stirling resident and banker at Mt Barker, hopes to reclaim the former Liberal Party stronghold of Mayo, which was won by independent Rebekha Sharkie in 2016.
