Murray Darling a key issue for Mayo

Mayo MP Rebekha Sharkie will try to get a positive outcome for the Hills should she hold the balance of power after the Federal Election.

Mayo MP Rebekha Sharkie said she would approach the Coalition Government first if this month’s Federal election delivered a hung Parliamant, but would be open to negotiating with both parties.

Ms Sharkie told The Courier this week she would approach both parties with a list of key projects and initiatives – some of which she described as “non-negotiable” – if neither the Coalition nor Labor secure enough seats to form majority Government.
