A former Hills Country Fire Service (CFS) brigade captain has criticised the volunteer organisation’s handling of an incident that occurred during the deadly 2020 KI Bushfire, which he says put firefighters in a dangerous position, leaving them with “psychological injury”.

In a submission to the Parliamentary Inquiry into the management and suppor
