Mt Barker man Marrack Payne has never turned away from the opportunity to have a drink with mates at his local.
But the 59-year-old will trade his full strength Guinness for a zero alcohol variety this month as he “goes dry” to raise money for the Flinders Foundation – a not-for-profit organisation which helps raise money for the Flinders Medical Centre (FMC).
