A Hills teacher has been named SA’s STEMM Educator of the Year for her work developing and leading problem-based learning at Heathfield Primary School.
Deputy principal and teacher Christie Evans introduced the new way of teaching to the school’s Year 4 and 5 classes this year, partnering with industry to give students the opportunity to solve complex real-life problems.
