Hahndorf residents have welcomed Federal Government funding for two interchange upgrades at both ends of the town, but still want a bypass to ease traffic congestion on the main street.
The 2024 Federal Budget included $120m to upgrade the Verdun and Mt Barker interchanges, two projects that were initially part of the now-scrapped $250m Hahndorf Township Improvements and Access Upgrade (HTIAU).
