Andrew Aitken has resigned as the Adelaide Hills Council chief executive after 10 years in the role.
Mr Aitken announced his resignation last week, effective at the end of his contract, at the end of September.
He said it was a difficult decision to call an end to his position at the council but it was time for him to “pursue other opportunities and interests”.
