Eastern browns on the rise as hatching begins

The number of juvenile eastern brown snakes in the Hills will rise over the coming weeks as the eggs laid in spring last year begin to hatch.

The eastern brown snake is classified as the second most toxic snake globally, however, the reptile is generally non-aggressive unless cornered or threatened.

The snakes are known to populate eastern Australia, with a large number living in the Hills.
