The latest designs for the new $320.8m Mt Barker hospital have been revealed by the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.
An update by the network said key features based on community and clinical consultation included locating the mental health unit close to the emergency department, communal spaces such as a cafe and community garden and multi-level car parking.
