Mt Barker’s Stephen Street is set to receive a $1m upgrade which will include a 800sqm “shared use space” with 13 new trees, seating and lighting at its northern end.
The Mt Barker Council will invest $356,000 into the project, with an additional $720,000 coming from the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
