Hahndorf’s congested main street will now be off limits for large semi-trailers after the State Government banned trucks that aren’t carrying local freight from using the road.
Instead trucks over 15 metres in length will be redirected to alternate routes such as Strathalbyn Road and River Road, which will be upgraded to accommodate heavy vehicles.
