The construction contract for Mt Barker’s new Regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre has been awarded to an Adelaide-based company, but the cost of the project has now risen by $17m.
Kennett Builders won a competitive tender process for the build and has past experience developing community-focused sport and recreation projects, including the Fleurieu Aquatic Centre near Victor Harbor.
