Construction of a controversial 5MW commercial solar farm at the gateway to Birdwood is set to begin this year, according to its developer.
Energy infrastructure developer Tetris Energy has planning consent from the Adelaide Hills Council to build the solar power plant on 13ha of grazing land, at the corner of Torrens Valley and Warren roads.
